Jarrah - From the southwest corner of Australia,
this is one of the most durable and attractive floors in the world. Once
called Swan River Mahogany due to its similar appearance to precious
Honduras Mahogany, this timber is incredibly strong.
Australian Cypress - New South Wales and Southern Queensland in
eastern Australia are known for this strong, tough timber. Far surpassing
Oak in density, it has many of the characteristic knots familiar in heart
pine. The straw color flows into a honey-colored wood with an even darker
heartwood.
Sydney Blue - As its name implies, this species was once indigenous
to the city of Sydney. Our line is environmentally harvested from Urunga-Coffs
Harbour area in the mind-north coast of New South Wales. With its soft brown
reds and deep rich reds, this floor has a warmth like no other floor.
Spotted Gum - From the foothills of the rugged Snowy Mountains in
Victoria and the lush coastal regions of Southern Queensland, this timber is
unlike any other you've ever seen. The color varies from pale gray browns
and soft creams to a rich chocolate.
The Origins of Our Collection
Manufactured in the United States from select timbers, this collection is
quite possibly the most environmentally sound option on the market today.
Australia's woodlands are highly regarded as the most efficiently managed in
the world. Our floors are cut from sustainable forests, managed through an
Environmental Management System that ensures continuous and sustained
improvements in environmental performance.
You're getting a superior product from one of the world's truly renewable
natural resources. |
