DuPont RESPONSIBILITY IN FULFILLMENT OF ITS WARRANTY OBLIGATIONS
DuPont will repair any area of the carpet that does not perform as described in these warranties. If DuPont cannot repair your carpet, DuPont will either replace or reimburse you for the affected area of your carpet.
REPLACEMENT:
If DuPont replaces your carpet, DuPont will pay only for the removal of your original carpet, and the cost and installation of your replacement carpet. If the identical carpet is not available, DuPont will provide you with carpet of comparable quality, color and value.
REIMBURSEMENT: If DuPont reimburses you for your carpet, DuPont will remove the original carpet from your residence,
pay for the removal, and reimburse you for a percentage of the original purchase price of your original carpet plus taxes paid to the dealer (excluding original installation costs, padding,
finance charges, delivery charges, cleaning or maintenance costs, or any other expenses), depending on when you report your carpet claim to DuPont (see chart below).
Whether DuPont replaces your original carpet or removes your original carpet as part of reimbursing you, any costs associated with new carpet padding or for moving furniture or equipment are your responsibility.
